Diane Jochimsen recently volunteered for Seattle Financial Planning Day. Her time and expertise helped the event reach over 200 people, giving them the financial information they needed. Attendees commented: "Very worthwhile - thank you!" and "This event was awesome - Very Helpful!"

Helping to give young people the tools they need to make smart financial decisions is an investment in all our futures. Diane Jochimsen, through Partnership with Junior Achievement and as a member of the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound, has been teaching financial planning at Snohomish High School for the last three years.

On November 20th, 2009 the Financial Planning Association (FPA) presented Diane with the 2009 Professional Service Award in recognition of her contribution to FPA of Puget Sound and the financial planning community.
